Approximately one in three people in the United States between the ages of 65-74 have hearing loss, and nearly half of those over 75 have difficulty hearing according to the National Institutes of Health. Julie Patton, Au.D., HearUSA discusses hearing loss as we age, tinnitus (annoying ringing and buzzing sound in your ears) and how to manage it, and the relationship between untreated hearing loss and the risk of falls, cognitive health, and depression.
